Pre-Show Dinner Near Troubadour Wembley Park Blue Check Wembley
Where to Eat Before High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park
Blue Check Wembley is a family-run restaurant and bar at 12-13 Empire Way, Wembley Park, about a two-minute walk from Wembley Stadium. It’s a good place for a pre-show dinner if you’re seeing Disney’s High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, which runs from 12 October 2026 to 3 January 2027. Book a table online before you go.

What time should you eat?
Eat 90 minutes to two hours before curtain up. That leaves time to order, enjoy the food and walk over without watching the clock. The weekly schedule I found lists evening shows at 7.30 pm, matinees at 2.30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and two Sunday shows at 1 pm and 5.30 pm.
We serve dinner from 5 pm and lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm, and we’re open from 9:30 am to 12 am Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, we open from 12 pm to 8 pm, with the kitchen open until 6:15 pm. Hours correct as of October 2026.
What’s on the menu?
The menu suits a mixed group. There are 12-inch stone-baked pizzas and burgers from £14.95, plus pasta, curries and mains from £12.95 to £15.95. If you want something quick, start with halloumi fries (£7.45) or a shared mixed platter (£17.95). Several dishes can be made vegan on request, so tell your server about allergies and intolerances.
Going with children?
The show is recommended for ages 6 and over, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Pizza, burgers and pasta make it easy to feed a family before the show. Every child in the group needs their own ticket.
Seeing the show on a Sunday?
If you have a 5.30 pm Sunday performance, our Sunday roast (£16.95) is a good early meal. It’s served from 12 pm until the kitchen closes at 6:15 pm, so eat well before the show. We don’t serve Sunday roast on Wembley Stadium event days.
After the show
Our bar is open until 12 am Monday to Saturday for a drink once the curtain comes down. Our kitchen may be closed by then, so eat before the show.
Check for stadium events first
On Wembley Stadium event days we don’t take bookings. We run first come, first served with drinks, quick food and the live game on the big screen, so it’s busy. Check the stadium fixtures before you plan your evening. If it’s an event day, arrive early and walk in.
